Honduras - About The Kingdom Global Ministries was able to bless the City of Zion Orphanage with some much needed kitchen items. During the last visit, it was noted that the children barely had enough cups to drink from, and what they had was in very poor condition. Also, the house mother was cooking with broken pots and pans. Now all the children are enjoying new colorful large tumblers, and they also have new pots and pans for the kitchen. Many thanks to faithful contributors: Nita, Linda, & Lisa and to Denia who so willingly assisted ATK in this effort. Please, let God receive the glory & honor!

Honduras - Minister Belinda Headrick will be returning to Honduras with the Judy Jacobs' International Institute of Mentoring Ministry Team. She will leave May 14th to continue a project at the City of Zion Orphanage. Belinda requests your partnership in prayer: for the hearts of the Hondurans to be open and prepared to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that resources required will be made available to work effectively and efficiently to improve the children’s facility, that all will go well with the dental team, and that a garden will be sown and produce harvest in the seasons to come. Also, please pray for the safety and protection of the ministry team. The team will attempt to meet as many of the orphanage’s needs as is possible. Christian attorney Gao Zhisheng part of the ChinaAid Legal Defense Team, was kidnapped by more than a dozen police on February 4. He has not been seen or heard from since. He has a history of being repeatedly kidnapped, arrested, imprisoned and severely tortured by Chinese authorities, because of his work defending underground Christians and others persecuted in China. Chinese government has tried to silence him since 2005. His wife and two children have also been abused, tormented and cut off from the outside world during this time.

Belinda requests your partnership in prayer for: the hearts of the Hondurans to be open and prepared to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ, resources required to work effectively and efficiently to improve the children’s facility, the children's Christmas gifts to arrive intact, as well as the safety and protection of the ministry team.

In addition to the expense of the trip, we will attempt to meet as many of their needs as is possible. All financial donations will be greatly appreciated.

International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church - The message of the Gospel of Christ is illegal in 52 countries. Other areas are restricted and or hostile. PLEASE PRAY for our brothers and sisters in Christ who stand bold in the face of persecution around the world.

Africa - ATK has partnered with Nuwach Ministries, supplying them with much needed medical supplies that will be forwarded January 2009 to Sierra Leone, West Africa. These supplies will assist in battling against the alarming rate of infant and maternal mortality in that area. In addition, we send our prayers of blessings, love, and support to Gladys Palmer, founder and visionary of this tremendous campaign to save lives in the name of Jesus Christ.
